While he focuses on frontend development and site building, Stew will not be shy about solving all your other problems. His skill set ranges from frontend development with React, Gatsby JS, Drupal Twig theming, to Drupal site building. He has certificates in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (1998), Web Development with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Agile project management including Scrum and Kanban.
Stew acts as the team lead for the Extensions team, running retrospectives, mastering the flow of their Jira Kanban board, doing reviews and bi-weekly coaching.
This is Stew: Broad in scope and helpful by heart. When he’s not engaged in human-centered web development, you might find him playing guitar in his cover band, or surfing waves with the rest of our South African crew.
Stew got detained on his second day in Saudi Arabia, surfing a super rare wind swell in a prince's private territory. What surfers will do for a wave!
Stew plays guitar and does backup vocals in a cover band called "Fully Covered" playing music from the 1960s to present.
Stew has contributed to various issues queues, modules and spoken at several conferences:
