after a short night, thin walls, very active hotel room neighbours and a sportive taxi ride with a Buschido-like taxi driver, dania and myself arrived at Le Web 3.0 in paris! we'll keep you updated as soon as we get the chance. looks like there are a lot of people to meet...
reading the last print version of the spiegel (Der Spiegel 48/2007, Globalisierung ganz privat) i once more realized how internet and globalisation are enabling a market of its own: peer-to-peer markets.
on 7 of july 2007 i left the following post in my personal blog:
we're happy to announce that alexandra schneider will be joining the amazee team beginning 2008! She's currently immatriculated at the university of klagenfurt, finalizing her master's degree in media and communication science. with her austrian roots she adds another nationality to amazee's international portfolio. a warm welcome from all of us!
finding the right person for a key position is probably one of the most rewarding feelings an entrepreneur can have.
we're proud and happy to announce that daniel model is going to join amazee as an exclusive angel investor beginning of 2008. please read his summary and the reason why we think that he's the best angel!
my way to work was rather short in the past few months - from the bedroom to the guestroom (=office). besides all the advantages of shuch a short trip (no costs, no cold ears, no people coughing at you neck in public transport...) i must admit that it wasn't really the most inspiring working mode! changing the surroundings once in a while definitely supports my productivity, especially if it's more about conceptual and strategic stuff. and because the only three things i need is my brain, my fine notebook and a broadband connection i have decided to move to hawaii where i always felt that working environment is best. no, just joking. i'll keep that move for a later stage.
