Building a Web 2.0 startup requires lots of hard work and focus - from the trainee to the CEO. Days rush through and there's almost no spare time to zone out. Since we got listed on catalogr I allowed myself a tiny time-out to take the bird's eye view on our industry! Haven't been on catalogr yet? Click here and try to find us amongst all our colleagues with a web 2.0 vision :)
Yesterday the Amazee crew hat the pleasure to spend its field day with Amazee's Angel Investor Daniel Model and his company, the Model Group. After giving us a quick briefing and some interesting lessons on entrepreneurship and how to create a positive and productive corporate culture Daniel Model took us round one of the Model Group's production sites. It was wonderful to get the chance to see, walk, hear, smell and feel some REAL INDUSTRY!! Thank you Daniel!
Thanks to the people of 'Regio TV' for their nice BarCamp Bodensee coverage! Yes, they are a local TV station -- but hey -- Switzerland and Austria are not that far away... ;-)
I just got word of the following, really funny video over at Blog Age, about Social Network Wars.
As you might have noticed -- we have the latest Amazee release up and running since last night. We just want to keep you updated on what's new and what kept epoint, netnode and us (especially Malte) busy since mid April.
UPDATE 2: everything is back up and running. Enjoy the new features and come back tomorrow for more detailed information on them.
I just want to give you the quick outlook that Amazee.com will be offline for a couple of minutes tomorrow night starting 21:00 CET.
Two days ago Amazee had the pleasure to accomodate Zurich's First Web Monday. It was a colorful gathering of Internet entrepreneurs and engineers. The agenda: beers, Wuala presentation by Dominik Grolimund, Doodle presentation by Michael Näf, legal advice from Vischer attorney Claudia Keller, and Sun's Patrick Liechti who gave an outlook on their upcoming open source startup event, beers again and lots of talk and exchange!
