As head of our new, exciting Global Maintenance Team (GMT) team, I was excited to be invited to participate in a Lead Workshop, which took place during the Amazee10 celebrations in Cape Town in April 2017.

Tips for Setting up a Booth at DrupalCon

For DrupalCon Baltimore I was volunteered to help with the lounge for Amazee Labs. This was my first year helping to set up a booth for any conference event and I learned a lot in the process. Fortunately, we have seasoned boothers which made the whole process look easy, but I realized there must be a lot of learned knowledge locked away. In the spirit of open source, I asked six of the vendors here to answer a few questions about their experiences and all were happy to contribute.

The following interviews have been edited heavily (due to my poor journalistic skills). Any and all mistakes are mine.

It has only been a couple of days, but time seems to bend in strange ways when you are at a DrupalCon. From crashing a violin recital to smashing crabs to our hearts’ content, this week so far has been generous with fulfilled promises and delightful surprises.

Lock&Roll Baltimore

For several years now Amazee Labs has sponsored a lounge at DrupalCon, both in Europe and here in the States. We take pride in a space that stands out in the crowd and so we carefully consider each square foot. This year's Baltimore lounge is no exception.

Amazee Labs goes to Baltimore

Just a week back from Amazee 10 in South Africa and mostly cleared of jet lag, the Austin team is already packing up and rolling out to DrupalCon Baltimore. We had a blast road-tripping to Louisiana last year, but think it’s time to let the pilots do the heavy lifting. No Amazee Austin living room this year either, we’re trying something new! Come visit us in the Exhibit Hall, Lounge L01 to see our new look. We’ll be slinging some uniquely Amazee swag, too

Celebrating 10 years of Amazee in Cape Town

It felt like an extended April Fool’s joke, as all of our colleagues, some of whom we have only met online, were suddenly appearing in the Cape Town office.

Every possible space that a bottom could be placed was taken, with an American accent here, a German accent there, and everything between, from Slovenian, to Austrian, Spanish, French, Dutch and Romanian. Not to mention our usual blend of South African accents. It was the start to a happy time of chaos!
