At each UX Chuchi we challenge the usability of the "victim's" website, and this time the victim was Supertext.ch! Amazee's second year has been an exciting one, and while things have cooled down a bit, the Amazee team is already heating up for a promising year to come:
Beginning of January we are going to release Amazee’s very first Customized Solution, based on Amazee's technology framework.

So what we have done is locale-caching. This means that all localization strings are now saved on the RAM. With this change every page you load is about 0,5 - 1 second faster!
But what you also can see, there still is a lot of work to do.

Hooray, Amazee has a great new fundraising & donation system! After one of the last user surveys, improving our donation system was very high up on our developer’s to do list. So what are the improvements?
First of all donations can now not only be made via PayPal but also directly with the common credit cards Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Don't know what Wordpress is? Well, right now you're looking at an installation of this really great blog software. Personally I enjoy using Wordpress since I guess 2003 when I started my first blog. And when Amazee decided to switch from Drupal (as a blogging software) to another solution, it was very clear to me that we'll go for Wordpress.

Vote for Amazeeng – search social action everywhere
Our development partner epoint has created a cool widget called "Amazeeng" that was entered in the Change The Web Contest.
My grandmother used to do what in German is called a Frühjahrsputz. A very thorough, grand clean-out of the house and everything in it in the early spring. It is a traditional excercise in Prussian cleanliness. And since we like traditions with a little twist here at Amazee, we decided to step up the Frühjahrsputz game and are giving you the 2.0 version – Silicon Valley style*.
