HOW WE GET IT DONE
HOW WE GET IT DONE
Classic project management methodology only works well when things are set in stone from the beginning of a project. You can rely on good planning, but you can't adapt to unexpected changes easily. That's why Amazee Labs chooses to use an agile approach, ensuring that we can adapt as a project evolves and we gain knowledge and experience.
We operate on a lean, agile methodology called Scrum, which is a highly transparent software development process. One person from the client’s team will act as Product Owner, being our main contact for the project and making decisions on behalf of the client.
Our agile methodology is a flexible and inclusive approach that builds trust. Our clients are involved in every stage of project development.
When starting a project, the first thing we do is define a project vision. This vision includes rough feature specifications, broken down into a roadmap. Based on the functionality the client envisions, our team can use this roadmap to assess our progress, in terms of the project objectives and budget.
The Amazee Labs Project Manager works with the client's Project Owner to break down the roadmap into development sprints. A sprint includes all the activities needed to deliver the elements of the project, both functional and nonfunctional.
Being agile allows us to better uphold our company values of of openness, positivity, drive and creativity.
Project specifications are established together with the Amazee Labs project team, in an iterative, ongoing process. We encourage the Project Owner to keep in direct contact with members of the project team, so that relevant information is shared openly, and we can address potential issues quickly and efficiently.
Throughout the project, we will discuss any changes, actual vs estimated scope, prioritisation, and keep the Client informed about hours spent.
Send us a message and we'll get back to you.
