Partnering with the Swiss Paraplegic Group - Migrating into the Future
Like so many organisations that dedicate significant resources to maintaining and developing their digital presence, the Swiss Paraplegic Group had to acknowledge that their website was no longer meeting their needs. With an established, strong and long-standing relationship with Amazee Labs, they explained the frustrations and struggles they were having and tasked us with offering alternative solutions.
In close collaboration with the Swiss Paraplegic Group, our team started to untangle the complex technical issues at play, and evaluate better options for creating a more reliable website. A solution that not only addressed their immediate needs of increased speed, more stability and improved maintainability, but also aimed to future-proof the site.
With the client’s needs and pain points remaining top-of-mind and to fully understand the scope of the project, a prototype was created to gauge the scale of migration by component and assess the size and complexity. Adding to the challenge was the fact that the website for the Swiss Paraplegic Group is a large site with multiple language modules, multi-domains and various different content types.
The end result was a fully decoupled site that is reliable, offers a smoother browsing experience where deployments don't affect the end-user experience, and a state-of-the-art web solution that is future-ready.
I am very satisfied with the process and the final result. Once again, the collaboration with Amazee was very pleasant - efficient, customer-oriented and reliable.
