Last Friday started for me with friendly smiles of people who care about user-friendly solutions, which make our lifes better. I was happy to be among 60 attendees of the first UX Brunch Zürich 2015, organized by Valérie Vuillerat, Rahel Vils and Marc Steffen. Event took place in Impact Hub, which is known as a space with a good vibe. Being there is already enough to love the world around you even on an early Friday morning. But greeting and meeting people, who understand your challenges and the big meaning of those small victories on the way to great designs, is even better.
I started the day early with the Prenote (yes of course i did take the Prenote Selfie). It wasn't until later that i found out that we were all over Dries' keynote (thank you Dries).
As summer is coming to an end we took the chance to enjoy our roof terrace one last time and hosted a little summer party at our office. We've had the pleasure to have Jonas Kamber's fabulous Fotobox with us, which brought some serious party fun. But have a look at a selection of the pictures and see for yourself; this is where you find the full set of the Fotobox pictures from our party and here's the link to the Flickr set.
Some of our team members spent a weekend in the great outdoors lately! See what happens when urban meets nature.
Amazee Labs geeks and friends have formed a team that will make their way up north on their bicycles from Zürich to DrupalCon Amsterdam.
A month ago the World Economic Forum (WEF) had its annual due in Davos. After many successful workshops in Gstaad we opted for a new location and headed for the same mountain resort as the WEF for this year's edition.
On Saturday Movember comes to a close and, while keeping a stiff upper lip, our moustaches will face the razor blades. However, before signing off from our month of manliness we want to grant our Mos their last hurrah.
By the amount of facial hair growing in the office you may be excused for thinking that we are in the progress of branching out into the timber industry.
Last year at Drupalcon, Munich we introduced The Periodic Table of Drupal Modules, much to the delight of the Drupal community. This year, we've updated our table with a current list of the most-commonly-installed modules and are providing it to you at the wallpaper size of your choosing. In addition, we're introducing a handful of other custom-designed, Drupal-related wallpapers for your enjoyment. If you'd like a custom-sized wallpaper for your device, please leave us a comment below and we'll try to accommodate those we've left out.
Over 1600 Drupalistas will be heading to Prague and every single attendee will bring her & his story of traveling to Prague, getting infected by the Drupal flu and leaving with a ton of unique impressions: Stemming from late night sessions in the coder lounge, attending the trivia night or catching up with fellows in a beer garden! They are all valuable parts of the DrupalCon experience and illustrate the diversity of the community.
